Terms & Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
1. About These Terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of this website and the supply of bespoke fitted furniture and installation services by Crusade Living Spaces ("we", "us", "our"), trading from Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. By requesting a quote, placing an order or using this website you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Quotations
All quotations are provided free of charge following an initial consultation and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotations are based on the specification agreed at the time; any subsequent changes requested by the customer may result in a revised quote. A quotation does not constitute a contract until we issue a written order confirmation and you pay the required deposit.
3. Orders & Deposits
To secure your installation date and begin manufacture, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total quoted price is required. The remaining balance is due on the day of installation, before work begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and card payment.
4. Design & Specification Changes
Once manufacture has commenced, changes to the design or materials can no longer be made. Minor adjustments requested before manufacture begins may be accommodated at our discretion and may affect the final price and lead time. All changes must be confirmed in writing.
5. Lead Times & Installation Dates
We will provide an estimated lead time at the time of order. Lead times are estimates only and not guaranteed. We will notify you promptly of any delay. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, adverse weather or access issues.
6. Installation
You are responsible for ensuring:
- Clear, safe access to the installation area on the agreed date
- The area is free of furniture and obstructions before our team arrives
- Any electrical, plumbing or structural works required are completed beforehand
- An adult (18+) is present throughout the installation
If installation cannot proceed due to circumstances within your control, we reserve the right to charge a rescheduling fee to cover costs incurred.
7. Warranty & Defects
We warrant that all fitted furniture will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of installation. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, modifications by third parties, or normal wear and tear. To make a warranty claim, contact us in writing within the warranty period. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
As all furniture is made to measure and bespoke to your specification, you do not have the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 once manufacture has commenced. If you cancel before manufacture begins, your deposit will be retained to cover design, surveying and administration costs already incurred. If we are unable to complete the work due to circumstances within our control, we will refund any monies paid beyond costs already incurred.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for those services. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss.
10. Intellectual Property
All designs, drawings, 3D renders and quotation documents produced by us remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. They may not be reproduced, shared or used to commission works from a third party without our written consent.
11. Website Use
